at Faith Family Farm
Fall Semester (4 months):
Third Saturdays, Sep. through Dec.
Two-hour classes, 2 to 4pm:
Each class made up of 3 interactive 30-minute segments, followed by Q&A
Four family limit per semester
Couples attend classes led by Joel Stroot
Childcare provided by Andrea Stroot
(occasionally led by Joel when Andrea teaches a portion of the class)
Bring notebook, pen, and camera / Class handouts & homework provided
Farm products will be available for purchase

Oct: "All About Chickens: The Workhorse of the Small Homestead"
Guide to keeping a laying flock and raising meat birds
Nov: "Build Your Homestead from the Ground Up"
Natural soil building for nutrient-dense food
Dec: "Food as Medicine: Fermenting Everything!"
How to make kambutcha, sauerkraut, pickles, beer & sourdough
$200 per couple, per semester
Tuition due at first class meeting (check or cash)
Spring semester enrollment available in December
